Family Gîte - Fleurs de Soleil
Our family gîte, Fleurs de Soleil, is part of a beautiful
250 year old Poitou-Charentes farmhouse, renovated to a very high standard. The farmhouse is located in the beautiful Marais Poitevin, with excellent walking and cycling routes and many canals and rivers. It is close to several villages and within easy reach of the towns of Niort, La Rochelle, and Poitiers with their numerous restaurants and shops.

The gîte comfortably sleeps up to seven people in three bedrooms. The master bedroom, with views over the pool and sun terrace, has a four poster double bed and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom, which overlooks the private courtyard, has a king size double bed, plus a single bunk bed with sofa beneath. The third bedroom has twin single beds and has views over the pool. Also on the first floor is a family bathroom.
The well fitted kitchen is complete with a dish washer fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, washing machine, electric kettle, toaster and coffee maker. There is direct access to the secluded private courtyard with stone built BBQ and outside dining area.
The lounge has comfortable seating with two armchairs and a futon sofa, which can be made up into an additional double bed if necessary. The dining area has a table which easily seats eight people. UK satellite TV and radio is available, plus local French channels. Free WiFi is available in the main farmhouse.
All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided, but please bring your own pool and beach towels. A baby kit, consisting of a travel cot, high chair, and changing mat can be arranged in advance at no extra charge.
