La Maison des Tournesols offers holiday accommodation in the beautiful Poitou-Charentes region of central western France. It is situated in the relaxed hamlet of Les Touches, in the department of Deux-Sèvres. Close to the market town of Niort, the area is on the edge of Marais-Poitevin, also known as Green Venice or Venise Verte.
Marais-Poitevin, with its tranquil waterways, is an area of outstanding natural beauty ideal for walkers and cyclists. The historic port of La Rochelle and the sandy beaches of the Ile de Ré are also close by.
Renovated in 2008, the chambres d'hotes (B&B) features three comfortable double bedrooms and one-twin bedroom - all with en-suite bathrooms. And new for 2010 we will have a family gite and a studio gite to provide self-catering accommodation. All areas have free internet access.
For the convenience and safety of our guests, we operate a no smoking policy throughout the house and do not cater for pets.
