Studio Gîte - Helianthus
Our studio gîte, Helianthus, is part of a beautiful 250 year old Poitou-Charentes farmhouse, renovated to a very high standard. It is located in the stunning Marais Poitevin, with its many canals and rivers. There are several villages close by, and the towns of Niort, La Rochelle, and Poitiers, with their numerous restaurants and shops, are within easy reach. It is also close to many superb walking and cycling routes. Find out more about the local area.
Our sunny studio gîte sleeps two people and is laid out on one level. It features a king sized bed, comfortable seating area, a dining table and chairs. The kitchen area is well fitted with a fridge, gas cooker, microwave, electric kettle and toaster.
There is a separate wet room style bathroom with a large shower area, basin and toilet. The gite has a terrace with BBQ and garden to the front. UK satellite TV and radio is available, plus local French channels. Free WiFi is available in the main farmhouse.
All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided, but please bring your own pool and beach towels. A baby kit, consisting of a travel cot, high chair, and changing mat can be arranged in advance at no extra charge.
